BeWell

BeWell offers compassionate, confidential behavioral wellness services to undergraduate, graduate and professional students in the five Health Sciences schools, as well as outreach and consultation to faculty and staff.

Campus Recreation

Campus Recreation supports a culture of well-being by creating and promoting opportunities to be active.

Campus Food Garden

An on-campus food garden to supply fresh produce to local food-insecure populations will be established for the 2021-2022 growing season.

CARE Team

The CARE (Collaboration, Assessment, Response, Engagement) Team is a multidisciplinary group that addresses and helps at-risk students obtain the needed supports and assistance to be successful at WVU.



Carruth Center

Your experiences matter, and you do not need to process them alone. The Carruth Center is available to provide a place to talk about your concerns, frustrations, anxieties, angers and more.

The WVU Collegiate Recovery Program (CRP) supports students in recovery by promoting a healthy, balanced and meaningful life on campus.

Crisis Text Line

Help is just a text away for WVU students. Feeling stressed, down or overwhelmed? Text WVU to 741741 and reach a live, trained crisis counselor. It is free, confidential and 24/7.

Faculty and Staff Assistance Program

If you need to talk, we’re here to listen. The Faculty Staff Assistance Program is a free, confidential resource for WVU employees and their dependents that provides professional staff and a safe place to sort through problems and determine the best resources available to address them.

Health and Wellness Inventory

The Office of Health Promotion and Wellness has collected a helpful list of resources that address many types wellbeing, such as emotional, physical and community wellbeing.

Student Health

WVU Medicine is committed to providing top quality healthcare for students throughout their WVU education. Student Health offers wellness visits, vaccinations, on-site x-rays, lab services and more.

The Rack: WVU Student Food Pantry

Located in the lower level of Morgan House at 660 N. High Street (across from the Mountainlair), The Rack provides non-perishable and perishable food items to all WVU students who are in need of assistance
